What a crazy couple of years it has been with regard to Public Relations!
Hello, I’m Tonia Ballantyne and it is wonderful to be your Public Relations Chair once again! I look forward to bringing our members various events this year with more things opening up, while still providing some virtual/at home options, too. I began my SCETF journey as an alternate for the Annual Meeting back in 2015 and then as a delegate in several Annual Meetings moving forward. I was your Annual Meeting Chair for the 2017-2019 term and then decided to try on a new role – that of Public Relations! I absolutely love teaching kindergarten at Lake Simcoe Public School in Innisfil, where I currently serve as the steward.
There are many event ideas that I have for this 2021-2022 school year and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we will be able to move forward with all of them. Some of these events include Colts hockey games, family movie mornings, various art activities and virtual book clubs!
